About

  • Experienced event, wedding and portrait photographer based out of Portland, OR
  • Sliding-scale rates available for low-income folks, and communities engaged in social justice work
  • Life-long commitment to racial, economic and environmental justice

As Chief of Staff to Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant from 2013 to 2016, I was at ground zero during Seattle’s historic movements for $15/hr, the fight for rent control and affordable housing, the Seattle Education Association teachers' strike, and many other inspiring victories
fought for and won by working people.

I work to build these movements both as a political organizer and as a photojournalist, aiming to inspire and embolden others by spreading images of our struggles and victories to the broadest audience possible. My social justice photojournalism has been featured by Al Jazeera, The Nation, Bloomberg Businessweek, GeekWire, and many local Seattle publications including The Stranger, City Arts Magazine, and South Seattle Emerald

I also provide affordable photography for events, weddings and portrait sessions. In order to make these services as accessible as possible, sliding-scale rates are available for low-income individuals, as well as communities involved in economic, racial and environmental justice work.
