Sea-Tac Airport baggage handlers celebrate a Washington State Supreme Court ruling upholding the city's $15/hr minimum wage, paseed by voters in 2013 and temporarily blocked by numerous lawsuits brought forward by Alaska Airlines.

After working on SeaTac's campaign for a $15/hr minum wage and getting Kshama Sawant elected to the Seattle City Council, I helped launch 15 Now, a nationwide grassroots organization at the forefront of the Fight for Fifteen in dozens of cities across the country. Alongside engaging in policy work within Seattle City Hall, I built neighborhood chapters of 15 Now around the region and used the momentum from this movement to help win the highest minimum wage of any major city in the country.
